Regent Science Press Publication House

(Applicable to EJCSSA | EJAIML | BETRF)

1. Commitment to Academic Integrity

Regent Science Press upholds the highest standards of academic honesty, originality, and integrity in research publishing.
All submitted manuscripts must represent the author’s original work, free from any form of plagiarism, fabrication, or unethical use of existing material.

2. Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism is defined as the presentation of another person’s ideas, words, data, or creative work as one’s own, without proper acknowledgment.
This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, figures, or tables from another source without citation.

  • Paraphrasing someone else’s ideas or data without attribution.

  • Submitting a previously published work (self-plagiarism) as new.

  • Using AI-generated text or translated content without authorial contribution or citation.

3. Similarity Check Procedure

  • Every submitted manuscript undergoes a plagiarism screening using reliable detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or PlagScan).

  • The similarity index must not exceed 15% (excluding references, author names, and properly cited quotations).

  • Manuscripts with similarity levels between 16–25% may be returned for revision and re-evaluation.

  • Manuscripts exceeding 25% similarity are rejected outright due to unethical overlap.

4. Acceptable Use of Previously Published Material

Authors may reuse limited portions of their previously published work only if:

  • Proper citations are provided to the original source.

  • The new submission represents a significant addition or reinterpretation of previous findings.

  • Permissions are obtained from the copyright holder (if applicable).

5. Actions in Case of Plagiarism Detection

If plagiarism is detected before publication:

  • The author(s) will be notified and asked to provide a clarification or to rewrite the affected sections.

  • If plagiarism is extensive or deliberate, the manuscript will be rejected immediately.

If plagiarism is detected after publication:

  • The article will be formally retracted from the journal’s website.

  • A Retraction Notice will be published stating the reason for removal.

  • The author(s) may be blacklisted from future submissions to Regent Science Press journals.

6. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must ensure that:

  • All sources are properly acknowledged and cited using APA 7th Edition referencing style.

  • Permission is obtained for using copyrighted materials (e.g., images, tables, datasets).

  • The manuscript represents original research, not previously published or under review elsewhere.

7. Editorial and Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Editors and reviewers are trained to identify possible plagiarism and report any concerns to the Publication Ethics Committee.

  • Suspected cases are thoroughly investigated following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

8. Transparency and Accountability

Regent Science Press maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism.
Our goal is to promote trust, originality, and ethical scholarship within the global research community.
